Crochet and knitted items for you and your child.
A few years ago, I met an art teacher while visiting a local art center. Like any ordinary conversation with a stranger, I engaged and casually went about my day. After all, I was not looking to join any sort of class— or so I thought. But before I knew it, I found myself signing up for her art class, and— without even realizing it— discovered a lifelong passion.
I have no formal art education. I have taken only a handful of drawing and painting classes, which exposed me to mediums like colored pencils, acrylic paint, watercolor, and oil. When I am not in class, I experiment with watercolor and wax pencils in my sketchbooks. Every time I pick up a brush or a pencil, I enter a magical world and get lost in a journey of explorations and discoveries. What I see, feel, and bring to life, I am sharing here with you.
With one thing leading to another, my explorations took me to also experimenting in art with fibers. The knit and crochet creations you see here are a combination of spontaneous and carefully planned ideas resulting from my time playing with the fibers, colors, and materials.
